Amanda Righetti

Amanda Elizabeth Righetti is an American actor and producer. She became famous for her performance as the special agent Grace Van Pelt on CBS's the police procedural drama "The Mentalist. Righetti is a native of Utah and always wanted to sing. She started dancing when she was just four years old. Her first big-screen appearance was the 1995 movie "Love and Happiness". She made her debut on the tiny screen when she appeared as a guest star in CBS"CSI Crime Scene Investigation'. She began her career as a young model. A few years later, she was moved into Los Angeles and continued to take on small roles but with significant significance prior to her being cast as the recurring character Hailey Nichol in Fox's teen drama , 'The O.C.'. Righetti played a significant role in the slasher movie "Friday the 13th", the action film Captain America: The First Avenger' as well as Fox's soap-opera 'North Shore', and the drama series 'Reunion'. From 2008 to 2015, she portrayed Grace Van Pelt in 'The Mentalist' and received the praise of critics due to her portrayal. Recently, Righetti portrayed Madeline Kenner in USA Network's science fiction show, 'Colony'.
