Nancy Kovack played Medea the epic film of action and fantasy Jason and the Argonauts. Her character was memorable to males in my age group. In this production her screentime is much less than in the past, however it is clear that the sexually sexy dance routine she performed is one of the highlights. To add to the excitement it is believed that the Honor Blackman was hired as a Bondgirl, possibly due to the fact that they wanted her voice recorded with an authentic British accent. I adore these vintage films where everybody talks Shakespearian... However, Nancy Kovack was instantly recognized on movie and television screens, mostly because of her jaw-dropping cheekbones and glowing gaze. It's hard to believe Nancy Kovack was not a problem sharing the screen with Tarzan. Batman. The Three Stooges. Vincent Price. Dean Martin. Captain Kirk. Is it because of Nancy Kovack's personality? Her characters' solid determination? Her gorgeous body? Somehow, Nancy acknowledged that she never wanted to become a film star. She preferred supporting roles. Her 15-year film career is full of surprises and treasures.
